About the Cemetery: The cemetery, between the Petworth and Aldingbourne roads, belongs to the Corporation. The War Graves are mainly in the War Plot in Square 121, on the North side of the cemetery, in the newer part. The Plot was enclosed and constructed by the Corporation, who set up a War Cross at the East end of it. The war dead came mainly from the Graylingwell War Hospital, posted in the Asylum buildings North of the city. 174 casualties.
