Bertie Watson, son of Dave Watson and Sarah Emily Maddock was born at home in Jennapullin 7th Jul 1901; the midwife was Sarah Emily's mother, Mary Ann Maddock. Bertie died of diphtheria aged just 7 years old on 9th Jul 1908. He is buried in his parents' plot at the Northam Cemetery.
